Bottom dwelling hypocrisy

Guardian columnist Marina Hyde attacks Sarah Palin through her daughter Bristol, calling her “her trampy daughter” who is facing “facing regular problems such as getting knocked up by mulleted hockey players”. Typical Guardian sleaze, except for one little detail. Remember Roman Polanski, the director who drugged and raped a thirteen year old girl. Of Polanski, Hyde wrote with sympathing, saying that he had been

called a statutory rapist (the director was convicted of having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977), even being smeared as a paedophile for the latter.
Apparently, in the Marina Hyde world, a seventeen year old girl having sex, with a guy with a mullet no less, is far worse than a 43 year old man drugging and raping a 13 year old. This is what passes for ethcs at the Guardian.
