In the world's poorest and least developed countries food prices have increased on average by 30% only this year. We have seen serious and violent food riots in Burkino Faso, Cameroon, Senegal and Morocco. .. and even Egypt has started to ration food!
The Wikipedia entry on Wallström says she never went to a university. This is progress. I used to think you needed a university degree to be a full blown Eurotwit. Not so.
