The Guardian has video of an interview of Tony Benn talking about democracy. Benn claims to be very big on democracy, which seems odd coming from a man so keen to suck up to vicious dictators. He claims that neither the US or Britain is democratic, but he sucks up to Saddam? Benn explains:
Democracy transfers power from the marketplace to the polling station, from the wallet to the ballot.
